Red-barred dragons

Anybody have any husbandry info on these lizards?

No but they're on the Class 2 licence in NSW so I can't get any until November.

I haven't kept them but I have seen them in the wild, they are deep desert lizards, northern Flinders ranges and along the SA/NSW border. I think the big thing that they would need is UV and lots of it. I think you would need to ensure regular access to periods of real sun.
And one wild male I've seen had brillerent fluorescent red barring.

yea i might have to upgrade myself.
Fuscus there is a good pic in Gerry Swan's new book, has bright blue along body and tail, they apparently go duller when not in breeding season

That photo must be of an excentional male at full color, none of the animal I have seen ever came near that. My bet is that they reach that colour in Febuary, and wandering up to that part of the world at that time of the year is not comfortable. I was up there last easter and it was 45 plus. And driving back at night I nearly hit a wild donkey.
