Thats an idea. Maybe the system could be made to only allow the author of the thread to post replies, this way updates about the stuff for sale can be posted but none of the other crap can, this would force interested people to only PM.

The change would actually be very small and easy to do, the default permissions for threads created in the forsale forum just need to be changed, it would take a few minutes tops. Just an idea...
