Same people again floding for sale forum/splited posts

It could still work, if a person is having problems with PM they can just say so and provide alternate means of contact, most do anyway. It doesn't really bother me either way if this was done, I was thinking more of the people who start a forsale thread and then watch it go down hill. Sure the mods can get in and clean it up but that is just more work for them.

I still think that if anyone wants to answer to a For Sale Ad, they should answer in a PM, not in the actual Forum?

The current set up also allows people to ask relevant questions to the advert.
Unfortunately, a select few see this as an invitation to jump on the bandwagon.

The problem with PM is that the seller could be asked the same question by 10 people while if it is an open forum everyone gets the answer without everyone having to ask.

I think cause I'm a repeat offender that there should stricter guidelines when posting in the trading section maybe their should some requirement when posting these ads ie photos price and how to contact

Yeah i think it should be like a form to fill out, then a comments section at the bottom... that way all the relevant info is there as we dont have to waste the first 4 pages getting it....
Cats should include,
What you are selling, what sort of renumeration or swap you would accept, location, contact details and preference, ie on or offsite contact, when the item for sale will be available, if you are willing to frieght, delivery and pickup options, all that sort of stuff....
But im not the wd who has to write it up, but it would only take me 10 mins to throw a script together.....

The problem with that is that they make more work for themselves, would they rather spend 10-20 minutes adding the additional features or just as many hours a week removing the crap??

how do regulate something that is will be broken, well we just have to be a little critical. Could we put a lock on the ad to stop people answering, but then wat about the person that has a question about the item or so on, not all pplz }pm{ works so :?

*sigh* It means you can change the rules but people will still break them. A lot of members seem to think the problem is with the for sale forum.
What ever happened to people taking responsibilty for their own actions. ie: clicking on that submit button.
I guess it's just a common trend in society to cater for the idiots.
