Hi,
I am curious as to who to contact to buy a shingleback. There don't appear to be any listings on most of the common sites. Does anyone know any professional/amateur breeders with whom they have had success getting shinglebacks from in the past (A baby is prefered, but not necessary)
Otherwise, am I just looking at the wrong time of year? Do they have a specific seasonal breeding time
Any help would be appreciated,
Hayley

from my understanding they drop around March. the problem with Shinglebacks is they are apparantly difficult to get to breed and only has 1 to 3 babies a year, so very small clutches. However they are awsome critters, I'm getting another pair this season, some nice chocolate ones and can't wait. All the best.

very true, and they do well in groups so why sell newborns? they are half the size of an adult.

search RDU, there are some coming from SA. thats were i got mine $125 ea.

How old do shinglebacks need to be to breed? My little shingleback just turned three and theres no way she is anywhere near big enough to breed yet. This is one piece of info i havent been able to find out about shinglebacks. I bet there are some breeders here who know ;)
