Snake Bites

I have had my jungle almost 6 weeks and she has never struck at us, we handle her regularly and the mire we do the less annoyed she get when we move her from her perch for cuddles.
But every time we feed her (we use tongs) and she strikes the poor dead mouse it makes me flinch and scares the crap outta me, it just happens so fast lol
Im sure one day we will get tagged but it wont deter us from handling her, just like I wouldnt dislike a dog if it had a nip at me when scared
