I don't know about the sexy arm thing Byrony, but does a goldfish on my foot count LMFAO
I too have been thinking of getting a 'discreet" tattoo of a snake also on my lower back but have yet to find a picture of one in any tattoo establishments that don't look like they want to tear your throat out. :shock:. Maybe a snake curled around my ankle, who knows. It is more a case of the money, rather than the pain.
Here's a funny anecdote involving my sister when we went looking to get her tattoo done. She wanted the standard butterfly on her hipbone as a surprise anniversary pressie for hubby when she returned to Japan and was quoted about $350 for the one she wanted. After much deliberating she decided it probably wouldnt't be a great idea as she wanted to have another baby in the next 12 months and didn't think the once sexy butterfly developing into a moth on her expanding tummy would be all that fantastic. :lol:
Anyway Bryony, good luck on settling on a design and can hardly wait to see how it all turns out.

Why don't they just call themselves "The Large Bloody Needles Shop?" - it's not as if we expect to see an accountant type in there - but a little class would be good. lol

I have 2 tattoos. Lots of people are put off by the permanence of tattoos but once you get one you realise it not such a big deal.
I have 2 piercings as well which are more painful but you can always take them out.
A Granny with an eyebrow ring...now that's sexy!! :lol:

there is also a dreat place in surry hills, sydney called inner vision tattoo
they ae very clean - with an autoclave and the people are funny i had a huge manly man come up to me and i said i want some help with the colours and he said 'now, i think we should put magenta here it will go alot better with your skin tone, and this blue will highlight your eyes......'
we was such a sweet guy.

Greebs - ponchos, Volvos & death look good on 80 year olds. lol, Not much else. The paper bag will cause an emphysema attack, then you'll have more trouble lol.
Of course I don't mean all 80 year olds, just the crusty worn out 1s.

Moth wouldn't let me get my nose pierced on our Honeymoon and 18 years later he let our 16 year old girl go and get 1!.
