Ive shifted the mat along further and monitoring temps now. (Mat now covering just over half of click clack.) There is a branch to climb if Snakey wishes to get cooler. I will watch behaviour to indicate too hot or too cold.

Good idea. Mines over 3/4 of the tub because the room mine is in is cold. Just monitor temps and see what yours is doing then you can change, matter of trial and error.

No problem. My bredli has came out her hide, going to "attempt" to get her out for a hold lol.

Thats good Dave

Mine seems to be responding to the shifted mat. Its now covering 3quarters of the size of the click clack. The edge of it goes under the front of the hide and I noticed Snakey has shuffled over to where the heat is. If he/she wants more heat, its warmer down the other end and there is a plastic plant to hide in. If too warm, then there is the little bit at the end with another plastic plant or up in the branch.

Goodjob. I just tried, it seems like she just hates me for now. Will give another shot soon if not will feed her I guess.

I got my 5 month old last week. She went straight to the cool end. After a couple of days she found the warm end and nows goes between them. I say patience. Snakes know what they like.
