My stimsoni python has gone off food for 4-5 weeks a month or just over. have offered every 10-15 days without success. I believe he has just gone off food due to winter. He has not feed in 4-5 weeks and last night I put him in a smaller enclosure and found this pooh, any ideas on what it is or what could be wrong?

Had urine looking colour liquid around it.

Regurgitation? or pooh? but why and how after 1 month of not feeding and already passing previous feed.

see pictures below. sorry about quality - were taking on phone camera.

Looks like poo.
Some stimmis are going off their food this time of year.

See my thread called 'strange'...will explain a few things.

thats what i call wee..uric acid, poo would be the ball of brown stuff(mostly rat fur) that comes after.. when they havnt eaten in a while they can still 'wee' every now & then.. looks normal to me..

lol oh nice. yeah mine does to but it's frustrating, worrying when they don't eat. how often are you offering food? read FAY's thread named strange. interesting info there.

That is a picture of urates, the urine component. There is no faecal component as it has not eaten.

It does, however, still drink etc and as such will continue to pass urates...

i dont offer from march to sep/oct.. not till after they lay there eggs & the heat turned back on 18 hrs a day..
