So I ended up taking in a stimpson python after a friend couldn't care for it due to aggression. Ive been trying to keep it happy. Its apparently never really been happy. Ive adapted its enclosure but it still seems to hide at any sight of someone walking past or going near the enclosure. It used to be in the small rectangle with hides and water and have now given it some more space but it still really seems unhappy. I recently found it out of its enclosure and on the ground and managed to pick it up and get it back in and it's been hiding in the vertical cut-outs behind the fake rock wall that's meant for cables.
I have been feeding her pinkies for a while now and fed her last night and thought i might try a second one and she went straight for it so i'm thinking i might need to up her food size.
I regards to temperature i've got two thermometers, one is digital and on the inside of the glass in her new enclosure and one is on the wall at the back of the main unit. Neither of them drop below 30.c.
Also I'm not actually sure of the sex and i know its a touchy subject but ive added a photo of the underside of her tail just in case.
Any advice would be welcome and appreciated.

If it's still on pinkies it is definitely underfed, pinkies have bugger all nutrition. They should only have pinkies for about the first 6-10 feeds then up to fuzzies
The correct size food is about 1 and a half times the width of the thickest part of your snake.
BTW there is no P in Stimson
