Tap Water Ok?

Is tap water ok when making up the 1:1 mix of vermiculite and water for incubation? Sorry being a paranoid newbie. I dun want to kill the eggs

I have not had a problem with tap water using it for 4 years although this year I had the small flies in one tub in one incubator.I do not think it was the water maybe they were already in the vermiculite from the nursery.

Ok was just concerned with the chlorine in tap water harming the eggs. Thanks for you're help
