Hey guys - try moving 30kg computer boxes (in heels mind you!!) and stacking them three high!! Then head across, pick up the phone only to konk yourself in the head and then cut yourself on the envelopes your sealing!!
I'll tell you what - I go a snake bite ANY day!! :lol:

if you are lifting in heels you can get them for oh&s, anything above 20kg's that is stack more then 1 high requires steel capped boots.

They're not open toe - but I don't think that the layer of leather is gonna do very much!!
My work aren't even part of a union let alone caring about OH&S!! eh! What can you do when you need the $$ to buy herps??

Don't worry about Unions, if the Government gets it's way the employers can hire and fire at will so people will be 'happy' to do jobs they know they shouldn't be doing.

Oh PLEASE come to my work!!
My Mum wants me to quit before I do any serious damage and can't give her grand kids!! lol
But unfortunately, computers come in heavy boxes.
Most of the time I can get around it by pushing/dragging the across the carpet. But yesterday the boxes were 90kg and were a bit of a bugger to move

Has your company ever had a work cover inspection.
A couple of back claims and they could become financially insolvent. And they probably complaiin about the high cost of insurance as well.
Its in there interest as well to make sure you have the correct equipment to do this work.

Friend had two peachies, put them in the aviary and next morning she had half a dozen birds all sitting on the floor minus their legs. I hate the little.........................

they aren't peaches. 1 is an avair breed cobolt blue X masked blue, who we got for free at about 8weeks old. poor little bugger didn't have any feathers cept on his head and wings. he kept coming home to mom and mom was a b****.

the female is a hand reared latino lovebird and instead of the yellow with red forheads she got the rececive green gene, i traded an Alexandrine parakeet which i caught in my backyard for her.

they were both complete angels and great pets till she got broody and evil. going to have their wings clipped. not just a one wing cliped both. no flying for em! also going to change them back onto the budgie mix so sunflowers are only used as treats and only come from humans.

it only really hurts when she gets me in the corner of where the nail ends nad the flesh starts she just digs in.

Yeah, Masks are almost as bad a peachies.

If you're gonna clip their wings, only ever do one. Otherwise, the wings are symetrical and they can acheive some limited flight. If you clip one wing then they have no control over what happens when they flap.

Bahhhh, you guys have got nothing on me!!

Try lying down on the round (not circle, bullet casing round) eject side of an M-60 machine gun only to have the hot ejection shells fly down your top and pile up under, on, and stuck to your nipple!!!! Red hot casings hurt on bare skin, especially nipple skin!!! And when its on your left side nipple, being a freak like me, you have 2 nipples that get burnt!! double the agony that anyone else would be going through at that time!!!

Ive got more stories, wanna hear em???

female is getting better. looks like she just territorial. i literaly grabbed her today when they were flying around. i am trying to teach them that if they fly around the house they have to deal with me chacing them. i then catch em with my bare hands and put em back on the ground infront of their cage. they are learning. slowly. will post a pic of the two little demons once the digi camera battery has charged :x
