Male beardie

I first noticed this little protruding 'thing' a few days ago. I thought it was just some poo the was going to pass.

Today i noticed it was still there, so I thought i would give it a tug (try get it out.

Well everytime i put a little pressure the beardie would move in obvious discomfort. It is a male and is with a female so i think (is it a spur or somekind of sex thing) it may have come out with excitement?

It's still itself eating, pooing. But i'm still a little worried, I think i may go to the vet, but i wanted the more experienced people's opinion on this. Is it normal, does it go back in on its own?

Is it worth a vet visit or does this sometimes happen?

It could be a prolapsed hemipene, if it`s been a few days there is good chance it is dried out and too late to save it (the hemipene) you need to get that animal to a good reptile vet right away!!!

Alright as soon as i posted this i thought... what the hell- i'm going to the vet, so i went and now i am back, apparently there was a build up of wax (which apparently is common) so th reptile vet pulled it out and then cleaned up the other side. It was inside both of the hemipene (i hope i'm using the correct terminology?) Anyway he's all good and it was nothing serious! And she was very impressed with his size! 376 g and i'm not sure how long.

But yeah it's ALL GOOD!
