turtles

Hi All,

we are thinkinh of getting a turtle,

would anyone know where i could find the right information inregards to keeping.
and which is the better one? we dont want something that will get huge.

know where we could buy one from?

I know that we will need to get a new licence (as i only have a reptile one)

The best place to ask questions would be australian freshwater turtles.

If your looking at getting a turtle from a petshop you will only be able to get a Murray River, Eastern long neck, Kreffts or Sawshell turtle. You can get a larger selection from private breeders but all turtles get fairly large.

I dont think you will need a new licence, turtles are after all reptiles.
