U.milli laid her egg

hey guys my U.milli finally laid her egg u could see 2 eggs in her but she only laid one of them hopefully she lays her other one very soon she laid her egg in the middle of her enclouser when i went to pick it up and put it in the verculcumate wich i mixed it 50/50 by weight it felt sorter soft but it has no indents or vains does this mean its a slug its her first year breeding
i set the incubater at 30 but it varies between 27-30 the thermostate is a black box style and the incubater is a wine fridge its heated by a 40w light on the bottom of the wine fridge

its stillll soft and theres no vaiensand its been 3 days and the temp today got 31 being the highest and 27 being the lowest is that okay

You need to stabilise the temp to 28d, if you continue to spike into the 30s
to much it may have a negative affect on incubation. The egg will not go hard like a chook egg but rather stay leathery.
