hey

my snake had a bad shed and some skin is still left around its face and on eyes and is very aggitated.

do i give it a warm bath or the likes like usual? not to sure cause its on his eyes :?

Bath or a warm damp towl should help loosen it up

bathing it will likely make it more agitated, use a damp towel, rough like a bath towel/ hand towel, not smooth like a tea towel, damp, and let the snake run through it so it has to rub the affected parts on the towel, it may take a few attempts, but it normally works

yep the damp warm towel worked. took 5 or 6 goes but eventually it came off!

well done, the sooner you can get onto it the easier it is, dont be tempted to pull it off, the towel is a safer option

i had the same prob with my woma didnt notice till i went to feed him then few days after he fed i tried baths but he wouldnt go under the water so after the 2nd day of tryign a bath i thought fk it i used a damp tea towel held his head softly and lightly wiped over his eye and after a few tries the shed came off.

yeah, i had to get him really damp and had to give his head a swipe though cause he got lazy and would just sit under the towel and do nothing lol... usualy he sheds in one single sheet (so to speak) each time

next time hes coming up for a shed maybe try putting water bowl up the warm end or add a 2nd one in the warm end for more humidity or give the enclosure a light spray with water each night till he sheds

yeah i spray him and around the hot end every couple hours when comming up to a shed with luke warm water
