Hey guys im not sure what 2 do
I brought 2 7mth old jungle jags yesterday and when I got home from work 2night I noticed one wasnt right I raced both of them 2 the closest reptile vet but they couldnt save it they put the other one on antiboitics and said they had a respitroy infection im not sure what 2 do now ?? Ive nevee had a herp pass away on me do I contact the person I brought them off ? I didnt even own them 24 hours
Im very upset by the whole thing any help would be great

Sorry for your loss.
Contact the seller and let them know what's happened.
I hope you had them quarantined from the rest of your collection. You never know what else they may have been suffering with.

I would contact the person you bought them from and advise them that one of your pythons is dead and the other is unwell and is on antibiotics. They should either refund the money or offer you replacements... However, if the person sold you 2 sick reptiles, would you really want replacements from them??? I hope you have quarantined them from the rest of your collection if you have other herps as you wouldn't want any other sick animals... I'd Try for a refund...

They were quarantained away from my others safety rule 101

How were they delivered to you?
Or did you pick them up?
If you bought them sight unseen relying on the sellers word it is different to buying after seeing them

RI fatalities do not just happen overnight
it takes a long time for RI to kill a snake so the seller should have known they were crook

Get something in writing from the vet
cross the t's and dot the i's
