What type and watage bulb is suitable for a 900mm x600mmx900mm enclosure with the balaster right at the top (this will be used for central netted dragons) thany you:)

Mate a 40watt downlight should be enough up one end, build a stack under it so the lil guys can bask about 80 to 100mm from the bottom of the bulb and that should give you about a 32 degree's hot spot.

Agreed. 40W with a rock under it. I use "moonlight" in my enclosures.

900 is a long way for the critters to climb to bask under a small light 80-100 mm away, this wont nearly provide enough heat ( 32 deg basking ) is not hot enough, and the entire enclosure ( ambient temp )would be pretty cold,
Also if you had light at 80-100mm away, how close would you place the uv lighting. Not that close i am sure.

yup i have lernt [ almost the hard way] that the fluro light has to be a min 16cm away from the highest point the dragon can climb to .
