If you go to (murwullambah) along the suger cane and paddocks and look under metal sheets of iron etc you might get lucky. During the morning this time of year there also really active. I saw one about 1m long sunning itself on the old rail way track thats next to the suger cane . also ive heard that there out near (canungra) and (beaudesert) west off gold coast.

Jonno, one was caught at Hervey Bay about 4 yrs ago and supposedly positively id by bris. museum staff.
