I know this question has been asked a couple of times before, but my niece has a 2 year old childrens python that stopped eating 7 weeks ago. He was a great feeder before this never refused a feed. Nothing has changed in his enclosure, except turning the temp up a bit. The hot end was getting to 30 degrees and it has now been changed to 32 degrees, but he still won't eat. She has tried every thing that we thought of plus some other suggestions from other threads on the subject. (braining, leaving it in the enclosure overnight, etc)

Any other suggestions on why he would stop eating?

It's getting towards that time of year, many of my males have stopped eating to start getting ready for breeding.

A few of my spotteds have now stopped eating for winter despite they're temps
You got to remember they also go by day length

Both mine have stopped eating over the last 3 weeks. I put it down to winter and getting ready for the breeding season as well

Thanks for the replies.
I thought that the reason might have been that it is coming up to winter.
How much will snakes eat over winter? I know this will depend on the snake but just a rough idea.

Wanting to bready my 6 yearold childrens.
Anyone want to offer a female?
or sell me one?
