advice needed

Ive just fed my 12 month old Murray and he has taken 2 small mice and upon taking the second one he split the guts open.Now i know people are going to say i heated it to much etc etc however i did it the same as i do everytime using warm to hot tap water not boiling(i could hold my hand under it without any discomfort).The damage to the mouse wasnt as bad as i first thought as this post has taken me about 10 minutes to write as i keep going back to check him.Now he has finished the second mouse off there is no mess in the bottom of his enclosure and there appears to be no guts on him that i can see.So my question is since all seems to be clean will he will be ok to leave for a couple of days to digest before giving him a clean off in a warm bath?Thanks in advance Troy

some of my mice do that dont worry it want hurt the snake at all and its up to u to give him a bath

As others said no need to worry. Some of my critters often get themselves in their water bowl to wash after a messy feed.

our little MD did the same thing to a pinkie, squeezed it so hard it popped, what a mess it made if it's clean leave it alone
