Cruising this thread I have a couple of thoughts.
How many 10 year olds or younger visit and or contribute to APS? The vast majority of what is posted is unlikely to hold the attention of a younger person for more than a few microseconds. Even the OT stuff that is borderline is usually fairly subtle and complex and that sort of humour just does not work for kids, almost by definition.
Please correct me if I am wrong but I would have expected that the vast majority of the APS community were at least teenagers or older.
That said I am not suggesting open slather. Any content with immediacy that could easily offend a passer by rather than somebody actively surfing the forum has no place IMHO. This includes some of the avitars and blunt one line posts.
