Worm-aid should be available at a petstore or you can go into a vet and buy some.. like $12 for a bottle, buy some jump start too from Zilla (appetite stimulator )

Petstores, vets may have it.. A few stores in QLD stock it and can freight to doorstep but some people get it from USA stores..

dave where do i get the jump start from?

you wouldnt happen to have a spare bottle i can buy off you do you? googled it and its all from USA . can you bring that sort of stuff over?

go to the vet, and get them to prescribe Bactrim from the Chemist, work out the dosage. it does well, with no negative side effects like other medications.

No sorry, I don't have any left.. I have to order some, I can see if I can find you the QLD store that sells it.. I think they charge $16 a bottle and can freight all over Aus.. And Yes you can bring that into Aus.. I was going to buy some Megarays (MVBs) from a US store.

bactrim is an antibiotic??? i didnt think it would have any effect for nematodes or parasites , i know from fish treating days and BAYFISH that praziquetal is the main acting ingrediant in most worming meds, but if this has worked for you then i might give it a go. what where your dragons symptoms when you used it?

Bactrim treats Coccidia and other internal parasites. visit the vet.

David Vella (sydneys exotics veterinarian) uses and prescribes it.

wasnt doubting you mate simply curious , ill give the worm aid a go with the jumpstart dave see how we go with that then if no improve off to the vet !!! if you coudl send me a link for the jumpstart dave that would be great

awesome i checked ebay no luck !!! obviously you have bought them all on ebay?

i would recomend waiting 2-3 weeks untill the beardies have settled in, then getting a fecal sample to see what, and how much parasites they have.

I can't find the website at the moment, thought I favourited it! I will pm you when I get it..

I use Worm-Out gel. I get it through work (vet clinic).

Slowely the Pet Suppliers who import products from overseas and disperce within Australia and widening there range to more herp products. Most stores should now be able to order many T-rex products including Solar drops (a liquid D3 suppliment) and Bone Aid (liquid calcium) had a look through the books at work today for 09 couldnt find any herp specific wormers unfortunately.

but honestly, contact your vet for a fecal exam, and from there they will prescribe a treatment. its $30 odd for the fecal (this will show them what parasites and how much), and prescription free, treatment is about $14 and from there you can self dose accordingly as Bactrim is safe, doesnt effect good gut flora unlike other treatments.

went to the vet yesterday need to get a few fresh turds and give them to him, see how we go !!! ill keep you posted
