Hey im thinking of adding to my collection and getting a bredli. Just wanted to know whats a better one to get a `classic ' or a 'hypo' ? and just any information i should know about them Thanks

Theres no "better" one to get, have a look at them both and decide which one you like best.

I love the front end (no-black) of my Bredli whereas my wife loves the back end (highly contrasting black-yellowy/green-brown). So it will really come down to your views.

Just have a look at pics of both and decide which you like the best. Personally, I prefer hypos but plenty of people out there like the darker colours of the classic. When we were looking, there wasn't a huge difference in price, only $100 more for our hypos. Good luck!

This is our hypo pair. Not great pics and both from a little while ago, but all I have on our computer at the moment. They're both looking more red now, especially our boy who was more browny when we first got him.

ssssmithy, I'm not usually too keen on the colours of classics, but that last one is absolutely gorgeous!

thanks...yeah shes differnt i like her. you see alot of classic bredlis that are dark/black form half the body down but still a strong red colour..
shes different dark all over and as kimmy just said almost purple when she has a shed.

Here are some pics of my classics - he has no black on his head or neck and lightly black on body but darker tail. But he isn't hypo, just a very pretty high red bredli - just what I love in the bredli.

here is my classic girl I got from one of the members on this site... she's gorgeous, and her colours are getting better each time she sheds :D... IMO, hypos are lovely snakes, but you can never go past a classic :)... the black just brings out the colour alot more .

I agree totally, I personally own a classic and my lil guy has the black banding right up to his head, its fainter then further down his body but still there, I bought him purely on his markings!!
Happy choosing, you've choosen a great python which ever one you go for!!
