I've always wanted to breed my wonderful boy Harley (Thick-Tailed Gecko) for a while now, but want to know if it would be a good idea to keep a male and female together? and hopefully try and breed.

I've got a few questions also...

(1). How would I go about introducting Harley to a female Thick-Tailed Gecko?

(2). When is breeding season for these geckos?

(3). How would I go about cooling them in winter?

(4). Could I keep them together all year round and still have them breed for me?

1- just chuck him in with the female and they will just mate like that.
2- breeding is between sept- march.
3- if your in Melbourne ambient temps with cool them fine.
4- I don't think you can breed them in winter - correct me if I'm wrong
Most importantly you need patience, especially when waiting for a female to become available.
Good luck mate,
Nick
