Hello, I have a Jungle Jag carpet python between 4 and 5 years old. It's about 5 feet (1.4 Meters) in length but it seems that its head is still very small. When I see other carpets have these big meaty-looking heads at roughly the same age as mine, it makes me wonder if I am doing anything wrong or is this a normal size for his age? He eats a large rat every 2-3 weeks and never refuses a meal. Also unsure what sex he is. (The picture on my lap (I'm 6 feet 4 in tall)
The bite video gives you some perspective on how big his head is compared to my finger.
