the other night i fed my jungle boy 3 chicken necks and everything went down fine. i had to move him briefly yesterday to clean his enclosure and he still looked normal at this period of time. however this evening he came out after i switched off his heat lamp and noticed one of the chicken necks has done a 90 degree turn and is poking out quite significantly. should i be worried about this passing through in this manner? will he simply digest this normally without incident? really all i am asking is should i be worried i'm just leaving him be at the moment don't want to stress him out.
any help would be great

It should pass, when you feed your younger snakes this sort of meal i reckon its a good idea to break down the larger bones with the flat of heavy knife or chopper.

should be fine. sometimes when i am feeding some of the snakes day old chickens, i feel as if the beak of the chicken will split through there skin it points out so much.

sorry to steal your thread here! But chicken necks do people just buy the ones from woolies or something? in the 2kg bags? and heating them up what do you just like heating up a mouse/rat! and how ofter do you feed your snakes on chicken necks?

chicken necks shouldnt really be fed every meal. sort of as a here and there thing. but there are some people who do it often. i dont feed chicken necks (i hav in the past) if i am breaking there meal up i will give them a day old chicken instead of rat/mouse.

I've never really throught about doing! but i read that more and more people are using them as food! i think i will just keep to rats/mice seein though im breeding them now!
