snake sounds fairly small for the age. I have a yearling childrens that is 55cm, and I thought he was a bit under-sized. as long as he is still healthy I wouldn't be worrying too much though.

Thanks cracksinthepitch, i increased the temp a few days ago to help stimulate his feeding, will drop back down. I have a thermostat with the sensor at the hot end. (just below where the snake likes to sit and just above the substrate). I bumped it up to 40oC the other day to see if that will help with feeding. I don't think it has. So i will turn it back down. i have a themonitor at the cold end sitting on the substrate

I always feel the rat and make sure its all soft and ready. usually leave it out for 20mins in a cup of hot tap water. somtimes give it a quick blast with a hair dry to get it a bit warmer and spread the scent around.

I will try your feeding suggestion though. Guess i just have to find a method that the snake likes. I have had success in the past with putting him back in his small sitema box for half a day then feeding but this doesn't seem to work anymore. I think he is used to his new home now.

He didn' take again last night. Will try again on thursday. Will try and take some photo's too, see if you guys think he looks healthy and if the set up is ok.

first off don't have the temp that high, 35c would be enough of a change from 32c.
no need to leave it for 20 min in hot water 10 min is long enough, you are heating it through so there are no cold spots not making it hot, it should be body temp when you feed it to it.
try waiting 10 days between feeds in may not be hungry every 7 days
