probably not the best time of night to ask for help.
But i've reached pretty much the peak of stress.

I have 2 thick-tailed geckos, about 6-7 months old.
Ive kept them together up until now, until recently they seemed fine together.
Ever since one had a bad shed about a week ago, (it took him about a week to actually go from the first peel of his shed to actually get it all off)
I've noticed since he/she shed their skin has turned really pale, almost see-through on parts of his/her legs.
In comparison to the other who is a nice rich, dark brown.

Im pretty sure that this one (the sick one, cookies) hasnt eaten in about 3 weeks. of there near-abouts, ive tried removing cream (the other) from the enclosure at night cause i thought they were stealing all the food. But cookies seems to be struggling to lift his head off the ground now.

I got one cricket into him last night, but i dont think its enough, his tail (which i believe is some sort of fat storage?) has thinned out so much, its pretty much a straight line.

im at a loss for what to do!
id get him to a vet asap. but im at school all day, and my parents are at work, and as far as i know, our local herp vet is about 2 hours away ( im in campbelltown , NSW, so if you know a closer one than avaian or whichever it is, let me know) so i cant get him there until AT LEAST the weekend, but im worried he wont even make it that long.

i dont really know what im asking for in this, just help i guess, im lost as to what to do. should i keep them separate permanently and look for an improvement, not just one night?

sorry for the HUGEEEEEEE babble. But i didnt know how to shorten it >_<

Hi Jessie, sounds awful , but even with the best care sometimes the little fellas just die{we always want a reason ,often we find one ,sometimes we can,t}.Having said that, keep them seperated, spray him\her with water twice a day as dehydration at this stage is a speedy killer.Make him\her eat every two-three days, only a small food item as you are trying to kick start their digestion not put on all the lost weight in a short time. good luck with the process, cheers Graham
