Hey all

any one in the Hornsby Region,

We've only just realized that we have a male and 2 females.. and the male decided to be a pimp and knock them both up haha

now one of them is in a lay box and we have no idea on what to do...

if there's any one that could help

please PM and i'll give you my mobile number and hopefully work something out that you could pop over and give us some advice and help!

Cheers

Hey mate im in austral/ west hoxton what are they the (eggs) ?

Yes sorry

Bearded Dragons

how silly of me... lol im just in a rush and nervous

Looking for some preferably 15 - 20 minutes away.

as one of them has started to dig.... and we have no incubator or anything.. we thought it was too late for them to breed...

have you got and incubator set up ? Do you have any vermiculite? (spell soz) If not grab a small Chinese container fill with some sand and make it nice and moist not wet. If you have a water heater put it on top of that. Until you can set up an incubator.

im probably about 40 mins away... follow my above steps until you can find someone.

just coz there digging doesnt mean they are going to lay straight away

well thats a bit of a relief.....

do we need 2 lay boxes?... or will they just both dig in the one box...

any help advice tips will help!

my ackies just laid eggs. so if u are desperate i can give you some vermiculite. i live in warrawee.
and i made a incubator out of a big styro box. heat cord on the bottom, some grates/ metal wire half way up the box to put the egg box on. and a thermostat and thermometer.

as for the laying boxes, 2 might be a good idea, will also give them more spaces to lay. i have been told though that if the male was not cooled then he will have no viable sperm so she might just have a phantom pregnancy.

does she/they look gravid?

oh that would be awesome....

we just went out and got another 20kg of sand and put it in a 20 litre tub or something liek that it holds the 20kgs with about 3 - 4 inches till the top of the tub..... they are right next to each other in the enclosure its abit of fit :|

we never intended cooling the male.. we felt both females and you can feel the eggs in them... i'll get some pictures of the enclosure and the dragons

Here's Pictures
