I wouldn't handle for a hour a day as snakes will start to get stressed after around 15 - 20 minutes. You know how much to feed him based on the thickest part of his body.

I dont agree with that
We started with 10 mins a day but now handle for about an hour. Our little jungle knows as soon as she hears the lid of her click clack go snap it is outies time and she loves it...slithers on to my hand and is stretching out and looking around. if she didnt like it she would stiffen and tag etc....I think it a snake is young and new then take it slowly but a snake can definintely be held longer it it is slowly built up to it.

as for temps...you just need to keep a close eye on them. Tonight ours cuddled up inside hubbies jumper and warmed up and then next thing we knew we could see this dear little face coming out for more fun...very cute.

if you watch your snake you know when they are stressed.
