Room size

The original room was pretty big. Hopefully the newer room will be just as big.

It would be great to see a packed house. Brian has been brushing up and this should be a beauty;)

I'm very new to the scene and haven't even got my own python yet - would it still be a worthwhile event for someone like me to attend? I'd definitely be interested in attending if it would be informative for a beginner :)

Yes definately,
this could be something you'll remember for the rest of your life.

This meeting will certainly have something for everyone as can perhaps be indicated by the number of interstaters coming in (some pretty big names too) and "newbies" telling us they wouldn't miss it for anything.

You will learn much about the development of the hobby from someone who was heavily involved during its infancy right up to the present day. Brian is a fantastic speaker and his talk will be peppered with much information and humor.

We are expecting a bumper crowd and for those who are interested the venue is twice the size of our usual one.

All the best

Kevin

small bump just to remind everyone its tonight. ill be there tonight. hopefully i can drag my partner there kicking and screaming, cos i know she will enjoyit once she gets there

Tonight

It's finally here.:D

Hopefully no one will prang into my new car like they did last night. 1 hour and 55 minutes after leaving the car yard:twisted: Then refused to swap details. They soon realized that the should do what is right:lol:

See everyone there.

was a very interesting night, well worth attending :D

Wasn't it just! What a priceless evening.

Just seeing all of those well known Australian herpers all in the one room at the one time make me feel that I was a special part of Aussie Herp History myself!!!

They had some camera men there from Channel 9 doing the video taping of the evening so those who missed being there can catch the presentation. (The DVD's will be $25 each - but you may have to order them soon)

Danm It! i knew i should have went, i drove past there but didn't stop cause i have no friends :D, i wanted a mate to come and he didn't so i didn't, didn't want to look like a noob all by myself, may have to order it.

I thought the night was magnificent! Brian is such an amazing wealth of knowledge (I'm sure I only saw a slither of it though) and I was privileged just being there. Fantastic and full credit to the VHS for bringing it all about!

As always it was great to catch up with a few new faces :D

This photo, even though a little blurry ( as my hand isn't too still for open exposure shots like this lol) I thought summed it up pretty well:

Top night

It was a great night! Brian gave an entertaining talk and his slides were in op nic considering some of them were very, very, very old.

One thing I did'nt like though was the way a certain person ate his his pizza (like a pig:shock:).
To have 10 pieces +++ of pizza and to only eat the topping and leave the base was disgusting.

I won't mention names but hose who were there may have seen it.:x
