hey all just organising my click clack...
ive noticed in some of your photos that use just stick a heat mat in one corner of the container!! as i dont own a heat mat would it be fine for me to set up the click clack and just sit it in the middle off my 4x2x2 enclosure with the heat lights and thermostat set...

thanks in advance tom

some people use a heat mat, others a heat cord. its just so the hatchling can get to its PBT, and as other snakes it keeps away RI and other diseases and what-not.
keeping it in the other enclosure you have is ok, if you can provide a proper heat gradient in the click clack. depends what species you have but usually its 30-32 for the hot side, and 25 or so the cool end, being cool blooded they get to choose to be hot or cold. get thermometers and a thermostat to control this :)
rule of thumb is to run it for a few days before you bring home your snake, to see if the temps are right, if not, change it around a little bit till it is.
hope that helps a bit

Nat ;) x
