That photo would be about 5 years old of not more. He was feeding probably once a week. It had nothing to do with feeding. He was just a very food conscious snake. As soon as you opened his enclosure he'd be at you mouth open and he'd wrap up anything be could grab. He got himself that one time. Multiple times grabbed a hook and newspaper.
