Hi all

I have a 1200x600x500 glass tank which I would like to setup for Geckos, unsure of species or numbers as yet.

Could anyone suggest a good starter species? Is this size tank too big? Can I house numerous geckos of the same species without problems?

I am a newbie looking for ideas and advice, and input is greatly appreciated :D

thats a huge tank for geckos. most live in something that is about 1/4 of that or less. you could put a lot in there but it would be a lot more work.

Does that then mean that I could house 4 times as many in that size tank as I would really like to use it as a feature in my lounge room.

Are there particular species that handle co-existance well? ie not fighting?

can that many all happily co-exist together in one enclosure? How much do they roughly cost?

Yeah thick tails would work in that enclosure only one male though, they are about 50 to 100 bucks each

Thanks heaps

Does it matter if i get them at different times? As I will be looking to slowly build my collection of these cute critters

How should I go about heating a tank that big?

You can also put a divider in the enclosure to make to sections or more and , have various set up inside.
