Chances are your stimmie won't eat at this time of year anyway and will probably be fine with those temps, however the optimum for your snake to function is 32-35 stimmies generally come from warm and/or arid climates and like it pretty toasty. If your enclosure gets to cold while your snake has food in it's belly the consequences could be a dead snake. I would not be comfortable housing my stimmies long term with those temps, as I have said you should not be having any probs maintaining 32 with your heat mat

I'm going to get a lamp stand, clamp lamp holder and an infra-red heat bulb. A 50W bulb should be enough given it's already pretty close? And can I run an infra-red bulb on a thermostat 24-7 without annoying the snake?
