my floor temp flutuates between 27.5 and 30.5 on the warm side of my click clack is this to warm for a diamond python thanks..

That temperture seems okay for Diamond Pythons, I don't keep them - but from what I have read it seems okay?

I would say slightly too hot for a diamond, click clacks are not very big so no chance of a cool area. the hottest I would have it would be the 27 rather than 30. Sorry I should ask what is the temp on the other side of the floor or is that the whole floor temperature.

Diamonds don't like too high temperatures or humidity. I would say 30 is too hot for diamonds. Might not see any short term effects but in the long term it is questionable whether incorrect setups are causing of various problems diamonds seem to have in their older years. Many seem to deteriorate from 8 years or therabouts, for no current, obvious reasons. A good temperature gradient for a diamond would be 26-27c hot end, 18c at cool end. If you aren't getting the cool end cool enough (say if its always above 20) then you might need to upgrade to a slighty bigger click clack.

I know many have argued that where diamonds roam wild temperatures do and have gone over 30c. But remember wild diamonds are free to find themselves a cool spot that will be no where near the same temp as is in the sun. Our diamonds are trapped in enclosures therefore it is up to us to make sure we lookout for their needs as best we can.

How old is it?
I read that for the first year diamonds should be kept like any other carpet, and then temps lowered over a few days once they are 12months

Thanks guys for you advice it helps out alot...
He is only around 7 weeks old, just a little fella. I have got it so the temps flutuate from around 26.5 to 29.5 when it reaches 29.5 it only stays at that temp for a few min and the slowly drops down to around 26.5 before the thermostat kicks back in, he seems happy and handles and feeds well.
