what plants are/are not toxic

hey guys
ive been reading some threads on branches for snakes etc.
and a lot of coments ahve come out about being careful on what you let them climb on becasue some plants are toxic for your snakes
im getting my first python tomorrow and id love to know
what plants are or arent toxic for snakes?
why?
and does it depend on the breed? or whether or not the plant is native?
and if you buy branches from pet shops, do you still need to treat them

i think plastic plants are the safe bet after seeing that list of plants

LOL there are heaps of safe plants..... even though thats a big list i doubt they all exist in australia.

You can always find a branch that you know where it came from... and ask you local reptile vet...
