Hello!
Me again, i'm taking my daimond python into the vet tomorrow because he has finished his worm and parasite med's... (long story short - my first snake, realy hearty, been threw heaps, had him for years, used to take him for walks at the oval, he might of even eaten a few pigeons before i got really interested in snakes and found out it is illegal. and for good reason to. for example - wild animals cary mites and parasites that infect reptiles, hence the vet)
so being i'v had this fella for ages, and the beguining of his life was pretty hard going for a poor little guy (about 6ft now) he has progressed well. with a 6 foot enclosure he has fell a few times, and has a few lumps and hard spots as battle scars. (i used to appologise to him dayly) but now i know better. much better - all my snakes see vet on a regular basis, enclosures are pristine, records are kept for anything and everything (the missus hates me) and handling is kept to a minimum.
i will be asking the vet about joe's (the diamond) poo tomorrow, but ill post something here first incase it helps/interests anyone.
He just did a poo, before shedding, (his eyes were cloudy from the 24/1/09 - 2 piece shed) all the poo was of normal coulor, but seperate from the brown/white was what looked like a pale white sack, with orange things/stuff inside that are rock hard. the sack had a bit of blood on it, and what looked to be small feint vaines (like in your eye) running across it. Also one side tappered of like a tail (not like a 'tail')
It didn't seem to bother him, and he seems healthy/happy as ever?
PS:: this is the same guy i posted a problem about eye specticle not coming off...
It just came off in this shed!
