I voted for the Pit Viper, such a beautiful snake.
 
Looks like the Green Tree Snake is a firm favourite in this round.

The other deserved favourites are the Pit Viper & the pellewensis.

I'm surprised that the close-up of the mcdowelli eye hasn't got more votes though. :eek:
It's a top shot, as are many others 8)

Pic 13 is great but is so close takes you a while to figure out what it is.

Snakegal, you must mean #18, the Coastal Carpet Python eye close-up.
Amazing isn't it. :shock: It reminds me of Pugsly's work.
 
Actually that shot is making a late charge to join the medallists. :)
