Yes, we feed mostly fresh killed but CO2 to Freeze.

It has to be done quick and hard...not doing so is cruel.

In the thread below i asked what was the proper way of humanely using CO2, but i never got an answer,

My question was prompted by what Just_Joshin had to say:

Just a question.....who actually gases rodents the proper way?? According to the ethical guidelines? By this i mean first inducing a state of unconciousness before inducing death. If not done if this manner then it is actually an inhumane practice as the rodent experiences the feeling of suffocation before death occurs, which induces pain/panic. I'm guessing very few people do this.

So my question is:
‘How do you know how much to deliver to induce sleep and not suffocation ?’
Is it just a series of short ‘blasts’ until they all lay down and then give them a lethal dose ? – i realise it will depend on the size of the rodent and the container, but there must be some sort of guide surely,
