People probably already know about it but some might not. This is a great site for looking at the skull formations of different animals. You can look at cross sections etc to see how it is all made up.

Hello just a quick one. Just built a new cage for Floyd. Did the right think and aired the cage before putting him in for 2weeks and then re-disinfected before using it. but some how i have some tiny ants in the enclosure.
I know they are not mites of termites but i need to get rid of them...

went to the show today with fay (GARTHNFAY) and a few others. was a awsome day seen some nice snakes and lizards and met a few people.who i met was dymbak,hazzard,glimmerman,sparticus,fishhead and mungus. anyways heres a few pics

Found this little ripper in the middle of the road, it's being held by my 4 yr old son. Any thorny devil experts out there? I would like to know whether you think this little one is gravid or is it blowing itself up as a defense mechanism as ive heard they can do. this was taken in October...

I recently moved to Darwin from Newcastle and on the drive up, while travelling at 130km/hr on the Barkley Highway, I spotted this little guy on the side of the road. I was over the moon to see one of these guys in the wild, moreso impressed I spotted him while travelling at that speed...

This comment from the reptile parks thread got me thinking about feeding captive Thorny Devils. Does anyone who works or volunteers at a Wildlife Park / Zoo have anything to do with them in captivity? I'm just wondering if ants is all they feed them, and if so, where are the supplies coming...
i am just back from a quick holiday to sydney and the red centre, and wanted to give a report on the wildlife parks i visited there.
firstly i spent a day at taronga zoo, something i love doing anytime i go to sydney. made it in time for the reptile talk and spent about 2 hours looking...
i love the central netted dragon and the red barred dragon can anyone tell me anything about them. like cage size,care,temperture,and food and so on any info of them i would love.

Just saw on the ABC news that a reptile park in Alice Springs has just hatched out thorny devils. The hatchlings were as cute as! They said they normally incubate the eggs but they let these hatch naturally. THe cynicial part of me translates that as either the incubator was full or they didn't...
